This quasi experimental study with posttest only control group design, was aimed at analyzing the effects of applying constructivist approach via cooperative learning with Cabri 3D on mathematical reasoning and connections abilities of High School students in Tasikmalaya. The population of this study was all students of SMAN 7 Tasikmalaya, while the randomly selected sample was three classes of grade X, two classes as experiemental groups (one group treated through contructivist approach via cooperative learning with Cabri 3D, one group treated through contructivist approach via cooperative leraning without Cabri 3D), while the third class as control group, treated through conventional learning. Test on mathematical reasoning and connection ability related to Three Dimensions was administered to all group. Analysis of hypotheses used ANOVA one and two lines, followed by the Scheffe test and the Tukey test. The results showed that: (1) in term of initial knowledge, there were differences in mathematical reasoning and connections abilities between students treated through constructivist approach via cooperative learning with Cabri 3D, those treated through constructivist approach via cooperative learning without Cabri 3D, and those treated through conventional learning for the upper group and the bottom group; (2) students mathematical reasoning and mathematical connections abilities of lower groups treated through contructivist approach via cooperative learning with Cabri 3D was better than those treated through constructivist approach via cooperative learning without Cabri 3D , and those treated through conventional learning.
